Education & Resources

The best kind of family planning is the one that you choose for yourself, something that aligns with your lifestyle, your values, and your body’s needs. Our providers have extensive training in counseling and educating clients about birth control options and can help answer any questions you might have. We are dedicated to helping you find the birth control option that works best for you! Our clinics offer a wide range of contraceptive options – including same-day IUD insertions, which means you can get an IUD or birth control implant, labs, and check-up all in one appointment. But whatever your questions about birth control might be-  if you’ve experienced side effects from some methods, if you want to learn about some of the brand new options out there, or if you’re thinking about starting a family soon- our nurses are highly trained and can get you informed and supply you with the tools you need to make your way forward!

STI Information

Y’all, the struggle is real out there. When it comes to reproductive health, we know the conversation includes more than your birth control. Many communities around the state face high rates of sexually transmitted infections- that means you need to know what to do to protect yourself and your partner, and take steps to reduce your risk of infection. The best first step is to make an appointment to get tested, get on treatment if needed, and make sure your partner gets tested too. Our providers have a lot of experience helping clients start difficult conversations with a partner and can give some great advice about what you can do to stay safe and healthy out there. Make an appointment for a complete and confidential STI screening with one of our providers today. And for more information about STIs and getting involved in STI prevention in your community, check out our partners at Louisiana Health Hub.
